Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 October 2026
Flayr is an AI outfit stylist app. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the Flayr app and website, why we collect it, who helps us process it, and the choices you have. In short: we don't sell your data, we don't show ads, and you can delete your account at any time.
1. Who we are
Flayr ("Flayr", "we", "us") is operated by Danyfi Innovative Solutions, Vasai, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. We decide how and why your personal data is processed, which makes us the "Data Fiduciary" under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
This policy covers the Flayr Android app (in.flayyr.app) and the website at
flayyr.in.
2. What we collect
We only collect what we need to style you and run the app. Items marked optional are only collected if you choose to give them.

3. How we use it
- To style you: create outfits for your occasion, budget, body type and the weather.
- To run your account: log you in, save your looks and closet, keep your credit balance.
- To process payments and bookings: sell credit packs and arrange stylist video sessions.
- To send reminders: festival and event reminders, if you allow notifications.
- To keep Flayr safe: prevent fraud and abuse, check that requests come from the genuine app, and review reported content.
- To improve Flayr: understand which features work, fix crashes and measure which shop links are useful.
- To meet legal duties: keep payment records for tax and accounting, and respond to lawful requests.
We process your data based on the consent you give when you sign up and use each feature, and, where the law allows, for legitimate uses such as security and legal compliance. You can withdraw consent at any time by turning off a permission, deleting content or deleting your account.
4. Your photos and AI
Flayr uses Google's Gemini AI models, run through Google Cloud (Vertex AI), to generate outfits, tag your clothes and create virtual try-on images.
- When you use try-on or add clothes to your closet, the photo is sent to Google Cloud to produce the result.
- Try-on pictures made from your own photo are deleted automatically after 30 days.
- Under Google Cloud's terms, data sent through Vertex AI is not used to train Google's models.
- AI-generated images and suggestions can be inaccurate. Each AI result has a Report button so you can tell us if something is wrong or inappropriate.
5. Service providers
We use trusted providers that process data on our behalf, under contracts that limit how they can use it:
- Google Firebase and Google Cloud: login, database, file storage, cloud functions, AI models, analytics, crash reports, notifications and app integrity checks.
- Google Play Billing: payments for credit packs.
- Razorpay: payments for stylist sessions.
- Open-Meteo: weather forecasts, using your approximate location only.
- Video call providers (such as Google Meet): stylist sessions, under that provider's own privacy terms.
6. When others can see your data
- We never sell your personal data and we don't share it with advertisers.
- Discover posts are visible to other Flayr users, along with your display name.
- Stylists you book see your name, the booking details and the looks you choose to share with them.
- Shopping: when you tap a product, you leave Flayr and go to that store's website or app. Their own privacy policy then applies. We may receive a commission from some stores; we share only what is needed to track the referral, not your profile.
- Legal reasons: we may disclose data if required by law, a court order or a government authority, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
- Business transfer: if Flayr is merged or sold, your data may transfer to the new owner under this same policy, and we will tell you first.
7. How long we keep it
- Account and style data: until you delete your account.
- Try-on images made from your photo: 30 days, then deleted automatically.
- Payment and booking records: kept after account deletion for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires. They are kept only for that purpose.
- Crash and analytics data: kept in aggregated or limited form by Google for up to 14 months.
8. Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can:
- ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
- correct or update your data (most of it you can edit directly in the app's Profile);
- ask us to erase your data, or delete your account yourself;
- withdraw your consent at any time;
- nominate someone to exercise these rights if you die or become unable to;
- raise a grievance with us, and if you are not satisfied, with the Data Protection Board of India.
Email info@flayyr.in from the email on your account, or include your registered mobile number, so we can confirm it's you. We reply within 30 days.
9. Deleting your account
In the app, go to Profile → Privacy & Data → Delete account. This permanently removes your profile, style data, closet, saved looks, try-on images, Discover posts, likes, reports and credit balance, then deletes your login. Full details and the email option are on the Delete your account page.
10. Security and storage
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and stored on Google Cloud, which encrypts it at rest. Access to the backend is limited to the genuine Flayr app through Firebase App Check, and to a small team on a need-to-know basis. Our servers run mainly in Google Cloud's Mumbai region (India). Some providers may process data outside India, as permitted by Indian law.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal data, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board as the law requires.
11. Age limit
Flayr is for people aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from children. You can create looks for family members, including children, but the account holder must be an adult. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we'll delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Flayr changes. We'll change the date at the top, and if the change is significant we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect.
